YouTube was founded in February 2005 by former PayPal employees Steve Chen, Chad Hurley, and Jawed Karim. The site allows people to upload and share video clips on YouTube.com and across the Internet through websites, mobile devices, blogs, and email.
In November 2006, YouTube was purchased by Google for $1.65 billion.
You can make money using google adsense on your youtube account they are the same company and its very easy to set up.. But it’s not easy you need to make a video that is going to attract lots of hits. I heard videos don't start paying until 1000 hits youtube will contact you to add adds on your videos or become a partner.
